THERE ARE SMILES AND THEN THERE ARE SMILES

THIS THING CALLED LOVE

We went for a day out as a family to Tatton Park and Pete took these photos of me and my beautiful daughter. Looking at these photos of the two of us I feel so incredibly thankful to God for her. She has brought us so much joy already. I love her so much that at times I think I'm going to burst with love for her.

Isla - you are my pride and joy! I absolutely love being your mum. I look forward to seeing you grow and become all that God has created you to be. I hope as I accompany you through life that we will become the best of friends as my mum and me are.

THE BLESSING OF GRANDPARENTS

We are so blessed to have such an amazing family around us. Isla doesn't yet realize just how lucky she is having such wonderful grandparents involved in her life. While we know she will be forever spoiled by them we wouldn't have it any other way!!

TEN FINGERS TEN TOES

What is it about babies feet that make them so incredibly gorgeous. I love my daughters' tiny toes and know they won't always look this irresistible. Certainly, they are the only feet I would consider putting anywhere near my mouth!

DADDY ISLA TIME

The first time we bathed Isla without any midwife supervision we soon realised it had been made to look very easy. Either that or our midwife was taking advantage of Isla's sleepy state after the whole labour experience. We first timers had no idea how complicated the process could be. Thankfully after a few episodes involving projectile poo and a near drowning we have now managed to master Isla's bathtime. Bathing our little lady is one of the many highlights to our day. It's now just a case of who is lucky enough to get to do it.
